Amazon Finds: Favorite Herbal Teas

So, I drink tea alllllll the damn time. You guys know this. But one of the most popular questions I get is ‘what tea do you drink’ and I have 6… So all my favorites teas are below and all are readily available on Amazon!

Rose Hips Tea

Rose hips is all about anti-inflammation. Inflammation in the body is the root to SO many problems including injury, bloating, lack of energy and digestive issues. I have Rose Hips EVERY single night before bed & usually mix it with another herbal, non-caffeinated tea.

Dandelion Root Tea

Dandelion Root is what I drink every day, all day leading up to a shoot or vacation. I learned about Dandelion Root from my trainer (her boyfriend is a competitive body builder & this is what they all drink before their competition shows to lean out. Dandelion Root is a diuretic so it really helps get rid of that unnecessary water weight naturally. **I don’t suggest using this on the daily unless you have something coming up. Also make sure to hydrate so you don’t get a headache!**

Green Tea

Drinking Green Tea daily has been a HUGE game changer for me. Every night before bed I steep Green Tea and put it in the fridge so it’s cold in the morning. When I wake up the first thing I do is chug a glass of water, then my green tea, then my black coffee. That way the first thing that is entering my body is straight detoxifying goodness!!

Mango Black Tea

Black tea provides the most natural energy out of any tea! Even more than coffee! Yep, more caffeine than a cup of coffee so if you’re one of those ‘I don’t like caffeine’ people… 1. that’s weird, but 2. this isn’t for you. This is for the hardcore mamas only 😜

Smooth Move

Ahh the secret to healthy… release. In our house we have something called “The Sunday Special” which is 1 bag Smooth Move, 1 bag Rose Hips. This is a way to fight inflammation after the weekend and have a good release after french fries, margs, and all the fun things we like to enjoy in life! That way you wake up Monday morning feeling fresh & ready to tackle the week.
I also bring this with me every time I travel. Traveling can really mess up your body, especially if you’re mixing up time zones, so I bring SM to assure I’m good to go, literally, no matter where I am.

Pau D’Arco Tea

This tea is like if Rose Hips + Dandelion Root had a baby! I also learned about this magical tea from Koya founder & Ceo, Christine Bullock who is big in the fitness & wellness field. This is a magical tea that fights bloating & promotes gut health! I make a big pitcher of this anytime my insides are feeling yucky like after a vacation or stressful week. It tastes like actual dirt, but it’s worth it & goes down easier if you mix it with a flavored herbal tea like Mango Black Tea.
